Abundance

At Hole in the Mountain Farms we are really grateful for the growing stream of orders as well as for an especially abundant spring/summer harvest this year. Although our website advertises that each pineapple is approximately 4lbs, Mother Nature has been very generous lately and so we have been shipping larger fruit, when available, as our way of sharing the bounty with our customers (at no extra charge, of course). Repeat customers often get an extra adorable mini pineapple in their boxes. These little ones take the same amount of time to grow and are just as delectable. While they are almost too cute to eat, Kauaʻi Sugarloaf is too delicious to just look at.

Kauaʻi Sugarloaf is available year-round from Hole in the Mountain Farm. We’re currently planting another new field to keep up with all the new orders. Pineapple takes about two years from planting to harvesting the first ripe fruit so it is a constant race to keep up. Which is why we especially appreciate the current bumper crop!
