We love hearing from customers but every once in a while we get some unforgettable stories about how much our white Sugarloaf pineapple is appreciated and how meaningful it can be to them. Here’s a recent example – verbatim – from a person who purchased a Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple from me at the Kukui’ula Farmers Market. My husband and I, along with our children just arrived home after 3 weeks in Kauaʻi. We are so blessed to have this trip every other year, but it wasn’t until this year that we met you. We purchased one of your pineapples at the Kukuiula farmers market. We then spent the rest of our days looking for you to experience the dream that is your sugarloaf pineapple!
Our days on Kauaʻi are happily filled with surfing, swimming and more surfing. It won’t surprise you that we returned home not ever purchasing the “fruit” gifts for our house sitter and family. So e-surfing I went and GUESS WHO I FOUND!? I read your entire story with tears streaming. It’s a truly lovely story. Every time we prepare to return to the mainland, it’s more impossible. I honestly think that if it weren’t for our very loved dog back home, I would have stayed this year.
So, I had to send a quick note to tell you that I am ordering a sugarloaf for our neighbor and one for us! I will continue to do so as our “signature gift”, because it’s perfect…. one just can’t enjoy “contaminants” after tasting one of your sugarloafs. Thank you for sharing your story… and your pineapples!
