Introducing Paulie’s Pineapple Phrosty

We are planning a very special treat for the upcoming KCC market this Saturday, July 19, 2014: Paulie’s Pineapple Phrosty. Paul, whose nickname is Paulie World, has many hours driving around in circles doing tractor work which is a perfect set up for inspired ideas. Tractor work is a long hot day, as are many of the days growing Kauai Sugarloaf Pineapple, and one day Paul thought we should try making frosties. He has enjoyed the banana and pineapple frosties at Banana Joe’s in Kilauea and he could barely wait to get off the tractor, buy a Champion Juicer, and freeze some fresh Kauaʻi Sugarloaf. This new way to enjoy Kauaʻi Sugarloaf Pineapple is indescribably delicious. It’s so creamy and so sweet you won’t believe there isn’t any sugar or cream added. In fact you’ll want to see it made to really believe this perfect summer dessert is just pure Sugarloaf.

The recipe is simplicity itself: 100% Kauaʻi Sugarloaf pineapple, picked at the peak of freshness, frozen, and pushed through a Champion juicer. The result is this creamy white, velvety smooth sweet delight that you will swear it is ice cream but we can assure you there is no dairy, no added sugar: just pure Sugarloaf.

We will be making Paulie’s Pineapple Phrosty’s, made to order at the KCC farmers market, and we think you will agree, they are something special! Of course, as always, we will have fresh picked, field ripened Kauaʻi Sugarloaf pineapple available for sale as well (and if you have a Champion juicer at home you can make these yourself).

Perfect for a hot summer day.
Such a yummy treat.
Especially great because its so good for you.

We will have free samples available and we want you to try this exotic treat!
